Abstract:

To provide a silk fiber bundle type Maki (wrapping) futon free from mold due to moisture, having effects on backacke by providing the surface of a Tatami mat with cushioning property, having a good ventilating property and can give a users benefits of various floor rooms.

A nonwoven silk sheet 7a is provided on the top face. A silk bundle 12 is formed by bundling 3,800 threads of 21 intermediate into one bundle without twisting and refining. The bundles are closely arranged in parallel with each other without clearance between the bundles 12in a height as thick as 8 to 10 mm. The bundles are bound with a silk binding thread 13, are closely arranged without space between them in a single layer. A nonwoven silk sheet 7b is provided in the bottom of the silk bundles. The front/rear/side faces of the silk bundles 12 bound and bundled with the silk binding thread 13 are integrally wrapped into a silk mat containing bamboo floss. Thus, the Maki (wrapping futon) type is structured. Furthermore, a tatami mat type is structured by using a rush tatami mat face 1a and a silk cloth 11.
