Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain silk woven fabric suitable for towels and underwear, having projections on the surface, and giving a soft skin touch, and to obtain a method for producing the same.
CONSTITUTION: The silk woven fabric has a multilayer woven tissue, comprises bent silk fibers, and has projections on the surface of the silk woven fabric. The silk woven fabric is produced by subjecting woven fabric to a salt-fulling treatment or an acid-fulling treatment, the woven fabric being produced by weaving silk fibers into a multilayer tissue.
