Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a silo weight body capable of preparing high quality silage, even if a crude feed bank formed by crude feed that becomes the silage has inclined surfaces, by easily pressing the crude feed bank.SOLUTION: A silo weight body 10 is provided for pressing a crude feed bank, which is formed by stacking crude feed such as meadow grass and corn that becomes silage and by covering the crude feed bank with a cover sheet material, via the cover sheet material. The silo weight body 10 at least includes: a long shaped tube 11; and weight 12 that is a granular solid body encapsulated in the tube 11. The weight 12 is filled inside the tube 11 in such a manner that the silo weight body 10 can flex along a longer direction with the weight 12 filled inside the tube 11.
