Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a silver coated material with a surface having a small coefficient of dynamic friction.SOLUTION: The silver coated material comprises a metallic substrate 1 and a silver coating film 2 composed of silver or silver alloy and coating a surface 1a of the metallic substrate 1. The silver coating film 2 is arranged on an outermost surface of the silver coated material. A plurality of granular projections 2b are formed on a surface 2a of the silver coating film 2, the surface 2a of the silver coating film 2 has an average spacing of local peaks of 0.3 μm to 3.0 μm and a ten point average roughness Rz of 0.3 μm to 10.0 μm.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
