Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conductive film having high transparency suitable for a cathode ray tube, excellent in conductivity, especially excellent in electromagnetic shielding properties and having a low surface resistance value, concretely, a transparent conductive film having a surface resistance value of 103Ω/square or less and capable of being mass-produced in low cost.
SOLUTION: A silver colloid soln. contains silver with a particle size of 1-100nm in a concn. of 1-80wt.% in terms of a solid and is excellent in storage stability. This silver colloid soln. is produced by reacting a silver compd. soln. and a reducing agent at 5-50°C under a condition of a stirring speed of 1,000-10,000rpm to form silver fine particles and recovering these fine particles by a centrifugal separator to disperse them in a medium so that silver solid concn. becomes 1-80wt.%. A coating material for a transparent conductive film comprises the silver colloid soln. or consists of the silver colloid soln. and a binder and the transparent conductive film is formed from the coating material.
