Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain the photosensitive material which has the high max. density and the excellent preservable property in the presence of formalin and is lessened in the fluctuation between different kinds of printers by incorporating a specific dye into silver halide emulsion layers.

CONSTITUTION: This photosensitive material contains the magenta coupler expressed by formula I at least one layer of the silver halide emulsion layers and contains the dye which has the absorption max. at 470 to 530nm and remains after development processing in any of the coating layers on a base. In the formula R1 denotes an alkyl group or aryl group; R2 denotes an alkyl group or aryl group; X denotes a hydrogen atom or elimination group. The photosensitive material which lessened in the fluctuation between the printers, affords the high max. density and has the excellent preservable property in the presence of formalin is obtd.
