PURPOSE: To provide a silver halide color photographic sensitive material improved in sharpness without generating the curl of a sample before processing under a low humidity condition and the crack the sample after processing and deteriorating white ground and furthermore suitable for a color proof application.
CONSTITUTION: In the silver halide color photographic sensitive material having a photosensitive silver halide emulsion layer and a non-photosensitive hydrophilic colloid layer on a supporting body, at least one layer of the non-photosensitive hydrophilic colloid layer on the side having the silver halide emulsion layer contains a white pigment and a latex is contained in the non-photosensitive hydrophilic colloid layer containing the white pigment and/or the non- photosensitive hydrophilic colloid layer on the side near the supporting body from the hydrophilic colloid layer containing the white pigment. And at least one kind of a gelatin containing ≤5ppm iron is contained as a binder of the photosensitive silver halide emulsion layer and/or the non-photosensitive hydrophilic colloid layer.
