Title:
SILVER HALIDE COLOR PHOTOGRAPHIC SENSITIVE MATERIAL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS61184541
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain a material high in sensitivity by enabling a dye moiety shifted in the max. absorption wavelength to be obtained at the time of reaction with the oxidation product of a color developing agent.

CONSTITUTION: The dye moiety can be formed by considering the performance of the dye to be produced after cleaving of a blocking group and designing the molecular structure so as to functionally separate the moiety for reacting with the oxidation product of a color developing agent from the dye moiety as the first system or to produce 2 dye molecules from one molecule of the the oxidation product of a color developing agent as the second system. Since the freedom for selecting the dye is enlarged as compared with the conventional system, brown-developing dyes difficult to be prepared, dyes superior or high in spectral absorption, and the like can be selected in a comparatively wide range, thus permitting color reproduction, image storage stability, increase of sharpness by reduction of film thickness, etc., to be improved.
