Title:
SILVER HALIDE EMULSION, SILVER HALIDE PHOTOSENSITIVE MATERIAL, HEAT DEVELOPABLE PHOTOSENSITIVE MATERIAL AND COMPOUND
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3948184
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a silver halide emulsion having high sensitivity in the visible to ultrared region and less liable to a change of its sensitivity due to a change in exposure conditions and a photographic sensitive material.
SOLUTION: The silver halide emulsion contains a compound capable of forming a divalent cation when oxidized. In particular, enthalpy difference (ΔΔH) (value calculated by a semiempirical molecular orbital method using AM1 Hamiltonian) produced between the divalent cation formed by oxidation and its neutral state is >1,700 to <2,000 kJ/mol.
