Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a silver halide photographic emulsion having high sensitivity and high coloring properties and excellent in stability in processing and pressure resistance and to provide a silver halide photographic material which is particularly good in stability and handleability in processing.
CONSTITUTION: In silver halide photographic emulsion, the main component of which is particles having twin planes, a part or the whole of the particles have development starting points near the points of intersection of lines formed when the twin planes are exposed to the surfaces of the particles, and the edges of the particles.
