Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a silver halide photographic material which has improved preservation stability when in an applied solution of an intensifying pigment.
CONSTITUTION: This silver halide photographic material uses an intensifying pigment represented by the formula. In the formula, each of R1, R2 represents e.g. an alkyl group; each of R3, R4 represents an alkyl group; each of V1-V6 represents e.g. hydrogen atom; each of L1, L2, L3 represents a methine group; M represents a charge-neutralizing ion; and (m) is an integer of 0 or greater that is needed to neutralize charge in the molecules.
