Abstract:

To obtain a silver halide photographic sensitive material less liable to cause unevenness of processing even in rapid processing and giving high image quality.

The silver halide photographic sensitive material has at least one silver halide grain-containing layer on at least one side of the substrate and contains 10-50 mol% high sensitivity silver halide grains having 1.2-3.0 mol% average silver iodide content and 0.30-0.48 μm average grain diameter and 50-90 mol% low sensitivity silver halide grains having ≤1.2 mol% average silver iodide content and 0.15-0.29 μm average grain diameter, based on the amount of all silver halide grains on the silver halide grain-containing layer side.
