In an image-forming method of recording a digital image data in resolution of 2,000 dpi, in order to record the image data on a silver halide photosensitive material with little deterioration, blur k of the image in image recording is allowed to satisfy the expression (1): k7.5 m(D-0.2)2 (D: color optical density of the silver halide photographic sensitive material).
