Title:
SILVER HALIDE PHOTOGRAPHIC SENSITIVE MATERIAL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2794240
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain the silver halide photographic sensitive material having a hydrophilic colloidal layer colored with a dye not adversely affecting photographic characteristics as a result of diffusion by forming the hydrophilic colloidal layer containing a specified compound.
CONSTITUTION: This silver halide photographic sensitive material has at least one hydrophilic colloidal layer containing the compound represented by formula I and the polymer having repeating units each represented by formula II in an amount of at least 5mol%. In formulae I and II, each of X and Y is an electron attractive group or each may combine with each other to form an acidic ring; Ar is a phenyl or heterocyclic group; each of L1-L3 is a methine group; n is 0, 1, or 2; R is a 4-22 C hydrocarbon group; m1 is 0-6; m2 is 0 or 1; A is a 1-50 C aliphatic divalent group: and M is a cation or cationic group capable of sulfonate. It is preferred to use this hydrophilic colloidal layer containing the compound of formula I, especially, for the yellow filter layer of the photosensitive material for photographing.
