Title:
SILVER HALIDE PHOTOGRAPHIC SENSITIVE MATERIAL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3776567
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a photographic material containing a cyan image forming compd. with improved sharpness of hue and stability against light, by forming at least one photosensitive silver salt layer containing a specified image forming compd. on a supporting body.
SOLUTION: This photographic sensitive material has at least one photosensitive silver salt layer containing a 1-naphtol-4-(phenylazo)cyan dye image forming compd. expressed by formula I of (Dye-X)q-Y. In the formula I, Dye is a dyestuff part having one or more cyan dye groups expressed by formula II or its dye precursor group. X is a single bond or connecting group which is cut corresponding to or reversely corresponding to development. Y is a group which releases Dye corresponding to or reversely corresponding to the reaction of a photosensitive silver salt having a latent image according to an image and which gives difference in diffusion property between the released Dye and a compd. expressed by (Dye-X)q-Y. q is 1 or 2. In formula II, A1 to A4 are independently hydrogen atom, cyano group, etc., and m is an integer 1 to 4.
