Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a silver halide photographic sensitive material not causing stain due to a residual color and having high sensitivity and high contrast.
CONSTITUTION: This silver halide photographic sensitive material contains a silver halide emulsion contg. ≥50mol% silver chloride formed by adding fine silver halide particles contg. at least one kind of group VIII element of the periodic table and/or at least one kind of specified dimethine merocyanine dye to silver halide host emulsion particles. This sensitive material preferably contains at least one kind of hydrazine deriv. or tetrazolium compd. in one of the photographic constituent layers.
