Abstract:

To provide a sensitive material excellent in graininess and sharpness.

In this sensitive material with a glue-sensitive unit, a green- sensitive unit and a red-sensitive unit on the substrate, the green-sensitive unit consists of at least two photosensitive emulsion layers different from each other in sensitivity and has at least one emulsion layer contg. a single-dispersed silver halide emulsion having an aspect ratio of 2.0-100 as a layer other than the highest sensitivity layer and a compd. which couples with the oxidized body of an arom. prim. amine color developing agent but does not practically contribute toward forming a color image is contained in the emulsion layer or a layer adjacent to the emulsion layer by 50-100mol% of the amt. of an image forming coupler contained in the emulsion layer.
