Title:
SILVER HALIDE PHOTOGRAPHIC SENSITIVE MATERIAL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS62166338
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To improve the quality (sharpness and graininess) of an image without deteriorating the sensitivity by using a diffusible DIR compound and a coupler assuming no color.

CONSTITUTION: This sensitive material contains a diffusible DIR compound and a compound which takes part in a coupling reaction with the oxidized product of a developing agent but does not form a dye. Generally, the sensitive material has three silver halide emulsion layers and plural nonphotosensitive hydrophilic collodial layers including intermediate layers on the support. The emulsion layers have been spectrally sensitized so that they have sensitivity to blue light, green light and red light, respectively. The emulsion layers may be coated in any order from the support side,a concrete example of the diffusion DIR compound is represented by formula 1. A typical concrete example of the coupler assuming no color is represented by formula 2.
