Title:
SILVER HALIDE PHOTOSENSITIVE MATERIAL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS5858541
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To prevent static marks even in processing in low humidity, by using a backing composed of a layer contg. alumina sol, electrolyte, and resorcinol, and a hydrophobic polymer layer overlaid on this layer formed on one side of a polyester support.

CONSTITUTION: A primary layer contg. alumina sol, an electrolyte such as NaNO3, and resorcinol is coated on one side of a polyester support reverse to a silver halide emulsion layer, and after drying it at 100°C for about one min, a soln. of a hydrophobic polymer, such as cellulose acetate, polystyrene, or polyvinyl acetate, is coated on this layer and dried to form a secondary layer, thus forming a backing. Then, a silver halide emulsion layer is formed on the other side of the film, thus permitting the obtained photosensitive material not to cause static marks due to electrostatic charge even in low humidity during manufacture and handling of it and to have an antistatic layer having superior abrasion resistance and adhesion to the support.
