PURPOSE: To obtain the color image of the titled material which makes difficult to fade, even in case of exposing for a long period, and has the excellent durability by incorporating a specified compd. in the titled material which has at least one layer of silver halide emulsion layers mounted on a supporting body.
CONSTITUTION: The compd. which is shown by the formula I and has the property of preventing fading, is incorporated in the titled material. In formula I, PWR is a group capable of releasing a group (Time)t-MCAP by reducing the compd., Time is a group capable of releasing a group MCAP after releasing a group PWR through a following reaction, (t) is an integer of 0 or 1, MCAP is a group having the property of preventing fading and capable of eluting from the titled material after releasing. Thus, the color photographic sensitive material which is not discolored for a long period, and is remarkably suppressed a color stain at a white ground, and has the high preservation, is obtd.
