PURPOSE: To obtain the photographic property with high sensitivity and high coloring concentration and reduce the fluctuation of the photographic property during continuous processing by using specific couplers.

CONSTITUTION: A coupler expressed by the formula I and a coupler expressed by the formula II are contained, thus a photosensitive material having high sensitivity and high coloring concentration and improved with the aging fluctuation of the photographic performance is obtained. In the formula I, R1 indicates a nonmetallic atom group necessary to form a five-membered unsaturated heterocycle together with the formula III, R2 indicates hydrogen atom or hyterocycle group, R3 indicates alkyl group or alkenyl group, R4 and R5 independently indicate hydrogen atom and alkyl group respectively, and X indicates the group eliminatable when reacted with the oxidant of an aromatic first-class amine main developer. In the formula II, R120 indicates aliphatic group, aromatic group or heterocycle group, Ar indicates aromatic group, and Xa indicates hydrogen atom or the group eliminatable by the coupling reaction with an aromatic first-class amine developer oxidant.
