Title:
SILVER SALT PHOTOTHERMOGRAPHIC DRY IMAGING MATERIAL AND IMAGE RECORDING/FORMING METHOD USING THE SAME
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2007047454
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a silver salt photothermographic dry imaging material, having a high maximum density, despite of small application quantity of silver, being less liable to generate fog during storage and superior in image preservability, and to provide an image recording/forming method using the same.

The silver salt photothermographic dry imaging material has a photosensitive layer, containing a non-photosensitive organic silver salt, photosensitive silver halide grains, a reducing agent for silver ions and a binder, wherein the photosensitive layer contains, as the non-photosensitive organic silver salt, a non-photosensitive organic acid silver salt obtained by reacting an alkali metal salt of an organic acid other than a sodium salt with a water-soluble silver compound, and contains, as the photosensitive silver halide grains, silver halide grains, having a silver iodide content of 0.1 to <40 mol% prepared in the presence of low-molecular-weight gelatin having a molecular weight of 500-60,000.
