Title:
SILVER SALT PHOTOTHERMOGRAPHIC DRY IMAGING MATERIAL, METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME AND IMAGE FORMING METHOD
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2008164722
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a silver salt photothermographic dry imaging material that is superior in raw stock preservability (storage stability before heat development), capable of achieving high maximum density, even on rapid heat development while ensuring low fog, and is superior also in the stability of a silver image after heat development, and to provide a method for producing the same and an image forming method that uses the same.

The silver salt photothermographic dry imaging material has a photosensitive layer containing photosensitive silver halide grains; a non-photosensitive aliphatic carboxylic acid silver salt; a reducing agent for silver ions and a binder resin, wherein the photosensitive layer contains a compound represented by a specific general formula as the reducing agent for silver ions; and the non-photosensitive aliphatic carboxylic acid salt has a rate of silvering of 90% or higher.
