To provide a silver salt photothermographic dry imaging material and a manufacturing method for it, obtaining a low-fog and high density silver image, while the quantity of silver coated is held down by a new copolymer, and to provide an image forming method, having superior stability of a silver image and proper silver tone.
This silver salt photothermographic dry imaging material includes an image forming layer, containing a non-photosensitive organic silver salt, photosensitive silver halide, a silver ion reducing agent and binder resin on a support, where the image forming layer has a new copolymer, the polystyrene conversion weight average molecular, weight measured by a gel permeation chromatography (GPC) of the copolymer, is 100,000-400,000, and a quotient Mw/Mn of the polystyrene conversion number average molecular weight (Mn) ranges from 2 to 15. The present invention also provides a manufacturing method for the material and an image forming method.
