PURPOSE: To provide a sliver-supplying apparatus in a drawframe provided with a silver-collecting means capable of making thickness of slivers uniform even in the case of narrower sliver binding than in a conventional apparatus.

CONSTITUTION: This sliver-supplying apparatus is composed of a supporting member 21, a pair of circular rods 23 as width controlling members and a pushing-up bar 25 and a pushing-down bar 24 which are closely placed to each other in a back and force direction having the circular rods 23 between them. The supporting member 21 is integrally fixed on a supporting bracket 12 attached on a slide block 9 supporting a back roller 6. The circular rods 23 are laterally stood on a horizontal base board 21a of the supporting member 21. Slivers are pushed up by the pushing-up bar 25 and pushed down by the pushing-down bar 24. Plural slivers S are collected to form a sliver S1 between the circular rods 23 in a state applied with a tension so that the neighboring slivers do not slip against each other in a vertical direction even in the case that plural slivers are collected in a narrow range between the bars 24 and 25.
