PURPOSE: To prevent a user from fatigue by forming a chair used in front of a wash stand or the like in a household of an assembly body of a rod-like member put in and out of the side surface of the washstand or the like so that the assembly body is drawn out of the side surface to the front surface to be adjusted to the height on which the user sits.

CONSTITUTION: A washstand A or the like used in a household is provided on the side surface with a simplified chair 1 formed of a pivotable and expansible rod-like member. The simplified chair 1 is composed of a support part 15 having a fixed plate 20 mounted to a rear plate 12 of the washstand A or the like, a curved part 16 put in and out of the support part 15, a simplified chair body part 17 having a rod-like chair part 2 and a leg strut part 19. In use, a slide part 25 of the curved part 16 is drawn out of the support part 15 and the rod-like chair part 2 is pivoted counterclockwise to be stopped at the height corresponding to the stature of a user in front of the washstand A or the like. Next, the leg strut part 19 is drawn out of the simplified chair body part 17 and veritically bent to cause the end to abut against a floor surface. Thus, a separate chair is dispensed with, so that the labor for carrying one by one the chair is omitted and the fatigue of the user can be reduced.
