To provide funeral equipment which can preserve the ashes before burying in a cemetery or the like or before sending back to the own country for a foreigner, and a container in which the ashes of a pet animal can be stored.

The funeral equipment comprises a box 1 which is made of a metal material, a cover 2 which is made of the same metal material and a small container 3 which is accommodated in the above box. An inner surface of the box is covered by a cushion member 16 which is made of a fabric material and the cover has an plate attachment member 27 at an upper surface. An upper back surface of the box is overlaid with a cushion member 26 which is made of the fabric material. The above metal material employs stainless steel or titanium and exposed areas of the box and the cover are made to be the mirror finish. Also, the box can be even a pullout type.
