To use an intermediate shelf as the one for placing various kinds of articles by rotatably fitting an intermediate part in the both sides of the intermediate shelf to the journaling part of an outer leg and an inner leg.

The rectangular frame-shaped inner leg 2 is incorporated to the inner side of the outer leg 1 being the same shape and they are connected so as to freely become a cross-shaped leg open state and a leg closed state where the inner leg 2 is contained in the inner side of the outer leg 1 by a spindle 3 in the intermediate part in the both sides of the both legs 1 and 2. Then, the intermediate shelf 7 is incorporated in the inner side of the inner leg 2 so as to be supported in a horizontal state by a supporting link 11. When the outer leg 1 and the inner leg 2 are in the leg open state, the top plate 17 is fitted to the respective sides of the outer leg 1 and the inner leg 2 so as to be freely attachable/detachable. Thus, the intermediate shelf 7 is used as the shelf for placing the various kinds of articles at the time of usage.
