To provide a portable simple weaving loom having a light weight and a small shape, enabling a weft yarn to be easily inserted by alternatively moving warp yarns upward and downward, and being freely carried even in the midway of weaving.
The simple weaving loom is constituted of a square weaving loom frame comprising a pair of longitudinal frames installed in the right and left sides, and a pair of lateral frames each installed so as to bridge the longitudinal frames in the front and rear direction, and a reed heald horizontally moving in the front and rear direction based on the lateral frames between the right and left longitudinal frames. L-shaped grooves continuing from the upper face to the front face are formed at a constant interval in the front lateral frame, and L-shaped grooves continuing from the upper face to the rear face are formed at the constant interval in the rear lateral frame at the laterally same positions of the L-shaped grooves of the front lateral frame. L-shaped grooves continuing from the upper face to the front face, and L-shaped grooves continuing from the upper face to the back face are alternately arranged in the reed heald at the same interval as the L-shaped grooves of the lateral frame. The reed heald can be raised in the front and rear direction, and causes the difference in height between the yarns put on the neighboring L-shaped grooves to allow the weft yarn to be inserted.
