To provide a simplified portable confirmation device for thermocouple operation capable of performing the operation confirming work of a thermocouple without power source connection under every environment.

A heating element 2, a bimetal 3 for controlling the temperature of the heating element 2 constant, and a chargeable battery 1 for carrying a current to the heating element 2 are integrally housed in a portable case. The heating element 2 is heated by the current supplied from the battery 1, and the temperature is kept constant by the bimetal 3. When the operation confirmation of a temperature regulator using the thermocouple as measuring element is performed, the thermocouple 10 of the temperature regulator is touched to the heating element 2. Accordingly, the confirmation for the temperature detection operation of the thermocouple of the temperature regulator can be performed in various environments.
