Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce power consumption.
SOLUTION: When any part of a portable telephone base station system becomes faulty, such a fault occurrence part generates a fault signal and applies it to a controller 2. Besides, a host device applies a power supply stop instruction signal to the controller 2. When the fault signal or power supply stop instruction signal is received, the controller 2 generates a power supply stop signal 6 and applies it to a power unit 1. When the power supply stop signal 6 is received at this power unit 1, the supply of power from the power unit 1 and an auxiliary backup circuit 5 to the other device of the portable telephone base station system is stopped.
