Title:
SIMPLIFIED STYRENE FOAM VOLUME-REDUCING APPARATUS
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3484532
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject styrene foam volume-reducing apparatus that facilitates the volume reduction of the dispersing resin waste at its occurring site and can save the heat consumption, the amount of oil needed for this operation and the time needed for the volume contraction by setting the directions of the waste charge and the discharge of the treated waste to the same direction and mounting a specific oil pan and a pressing damper.
SOLUTION: In the container 9 equipped with the slot (W1) 10 and the discharge door (W2) 11 in the same direction, an oil pan (X) 2 filled with an oil 1 heated over 140°C with a heat source (an electric heater) 4, the recovering mesh cage (Y) 5, and a pressing damper (Z) for pressing the foamed styrene materials (A) 12 from the upper side are set. A 12 is fed from W1 10, as Z4 is kept opened. Then, Z 4 is closed, when the container is sufficiently filled, A 12 is brought into contact with the oil 1 to reduce its volume by the thermal shrinkage. The product Y5 shrunk by its volume reduction is taken out by opening W2 11 and recovered.
