Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain simply detecting reagent for dog CRP whose significant increase in blood is recognized when the dog suffers from inflammation or infection.

CONSTITUTION: Simply detecting reagent for dog CRP is obtained by a method wherein anti-serum obtained by immunizing purified dog serum CRP in a goat or a rabbit is purified, anti-dog CRP antibody obtained from the anti-serum is sensitized to latex particles, and sensitized particles of the antibody are made to be present in buffer solution. Prior art detecting reagent requires use of blood serum or plasma, generally serum, separated from blood as a subject sample, but this detecting reagent is extremely high in detecting sensitivity of dog CRP so that full blood can be measured. Therefore inflammation disease or infection disease can be diagnosed on site even at the time of doctor's visit at a patient home.
