Title:
SIMULATED BALL HAVING SENSOR MOUNTED THEREIN
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS6420868
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE: To perform artificial motion in a narrow place by knowing impact force and the direction in a boundary between layers of a spherical core and the skin by pressure sensors, and sensing torque by strain sensors to compare strains generated by a difference in a property between the spherical core and the skin. CONSTITUTION: The inside of a ball is composed of synthetic rubber different in a property, and the side having large specific gravity and rigidity and the other side having flexibility and light specific gravity, are respectively put on the spherical core 9 side and the skin 10 side. Impact force and the direction are known in a boundary between layers on its spherical core side and the skin side by plural pressure sensors 1 to 4, and torque is sensed by strain sensors 5 to 8 to compare strains generated by a difference in a property between a spherical core 9 and the skin 10. In this way, solid geometrical respective vectors of an imitation ball are obtained, and a locus along which the imitation ball is expected to fly is known, and simulation sports can be performed in a narrow place such as the interior of a room by having the imitation ball imitated to an objective ball as much as possible.
