To provide a technique for simulating the behavior of epidermal tissues on the basis of actual conditions such as an age.
A simulation apparatus for epidermal tissues successively generates new keratinocyte models indicating prickle cells according to an acquired arbitrary division rate, respectively changes thicknesses of the respective keratinocyte models according to a cell thickness reduction rate corresponding to cell kinds of the respective keratinocyte models and elapsed time after the generation of the respective keratinocyte models, respectively changes the cell kinds of the respective keratinocyte models in the order of the prickle cells, granular cells and horny layer cells on the basis of the thicknesses of the respective keratinocyte models or the elapsed time of the respective keratinocyte models, and includes a peeling setting part for determining whether or not a barrier index total sum obtained by totaling barrier indexes indicating the height of a barrier performance of the keratinocyte model for all the keratinocyte models indicating the horny layer cells exceeds a prescribed threshold, and setting information stored in a cell model information storage part related to an object keratinocyte model to the state of being peeled from epidermal tissues.
