To provide a simulation device and method, capable of easily acquiring the risk level of a burn of each portion of an apparatus.
Constituting layers of a watched portion of an analysis object and the layer thickness, heat conductivity and heat capacity corresponding to each layer of the skin constituting layer of the human body are taken as parameters, and the heat transfer state of each layer corresponding to time transition on and after contact of a structure with the human body is calculated based on the parameters as simulation data. The calculated simulation data or risk level data generated based on the calculated data is displayed. According to this structure, extraction of a dangerous portion in an apparatus including a portion which is subjected to high temperature such as an image processor and acquisition of the risk level of a burn can be efficiently and accurately performed.
