Abstract:

To obtain a suitable simulation result by improving dependency due to differences in the shapes and arrays of elements in modeling the shape of an object by a plurality of element data and simulating an air pocket.

A certain non-liquid mesh is selected (S12) and whether height in the opposite direction to the gravity of another non-liquid mesh is high in a range of 0 to H or not is checked (S16). When the height is high in the range of 0 to H, the other non-mesh is temporarily registered in a mesh group (S17). After completing the temporary registration of all meshes in mesh groups, a certain mesh group is selected from the temporarily registered mesh groups (S18), whether the selected mesh group is connected to the previously selected non-liquid mesh or not is checked (S19), and when the connection is confirmed, the mesh group is registered in an adjacent mesh groups (S20). Consequently, mesh dependency is improved by extending an information area for determining the attribute of a mesh and a suitable simulation result can be obtained.
