To provide a rotating body simulation method capable of understanding at which position on the circumference of a rotating body such as a tire the physical quantity applied on the rotating body is changed, and the rotating performance of the rotating body is affected, and efficiently calculating the rotating performance of the rotating body.
By giving the input on the circumference of a rotating body model, a static condition of the rotating body is simulated. Using the result, change information of the first physical quantity along the circumferential path when an attention element in the rotating body model makes one turn in the circumferential direction is converted into time change information to the rotating period of the rotating body. The time change information is given to a typical model to calculate time history information of the second physical quantity generated in the attention element. While changing the attention element, the time history information of the second physical quantity is repeatedly calculated, the time history information is corrected according to the size of the attention element and accumulated to calculate the time history of the second physical quantity.
