To provide a simulation method on time history response analysis for aeroelastic vibration.
The simulation method on time history response for an elastic vibrator uses a vibration equation containing a vibration displacement component faR and a vibration displacement velocity component faI of unsteady aerodynamic force received by an elastic vibrator as variables. The method performs repeated time history response calculation routine including: a step of calculating an amplitude yo at time t from the values of the displacement and displacement velocity of a predetermined site of the elastic vibrator at time t; a step of calculating the values of aerodynamic damping rate a and circular frequency n from the amplitude yo; a step of calculating the vibration displacement velocity component faI from the value of aerodynamic damping rate a and the vibration displacement component faR from the value of circular frequency n; and a step of calculating the displacement, displacement velocity and acceleration of the predetermined site at time t+t by solving the vibration equation to which the values of vibration displacement velocity component faI and vibration displacement component faR are substituted.
