Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform analysis of performance of a tire with high precision while taking into consideration a phenomenon which actually occurs to a bead member constituting the tire.SOLUTION: There is provided a simulation method for a tire in which an analyzing device 50 (for example, a computer) analyzes the tire by using a tire model which has parts, constituting the tire, divided into a finite plurality of elements. The analyzing device 50 (for example, the computer) executes the steps of: setting data representing elastoplasticity as properties of material constituting a beam member as one of the parts constituting the tire; and analyzing the tire by using the tire model for which the data representing the elastoplasticity is set as properties of the material constituting the bead member.
