Abstract:

To provide a simulation method of tire vibration of taking into consideration a biting-in limit of rubber to a road surface recess.

A biting-in angle θth corresponding to an elastic modulus and grounding pressure of a tire finite element model is specified by using angle data of associating an angle of biting in the rubber to the recess and a pressure value of pressing the rubber, in advance with every elastic modulus of the rubber. Among a plurality of recessed 40-44 expressed by uneven shape data, a recess of being smaller than the biting-in angle θth in a thread bottom angle θb of connecting a crest and a trough in a cross section in the tire rolling direction, is extracted as a correction object. The thread bottom angle θb of the recess extracted as the correction object is corrected in the direction for approaching the biting angle θth. The tire vibration is simulated with the corrected uneven shape data as input.
