A product of a configuration factor in observing an exposed face of a coating layer from an in-furnace furnace wall and expanded radiosity of an exposed face of the coating layer, and a product of a configuration factor in observing an exposed face of a base layer from the in-furnace furnace wall and expanded radiosity of the exposed face of the base layer are introduced as factors to a formula representing a boundary condition of energy budget in the in-furnace furnace wall. A system of equations including the formula representing the boundary condition of the energy budget is created to calculate a temperature distribution and a distribution of concentration of a substance. The expanded radiosity is composed of a transmission component in addition to the radiosity component and a reflection component, which is different from a conventional radiosity composed of the radiosity component and the reflection component.
