This simulator consists of: a valve housing 41 with an opening communicated with a branch passage E; a valve seat member 42 attached in the valve housing 41; a fixed core 43 fixed in the valve housing 41; a movable core 45 attached between the valve seat member 42 and the fixed core 43; a valve element 62 provided between the movable core 45 and the valve seat member 42; an electromagnetic coil 44 surrounding the fixed core 43; a cylinder 42a formed in the valve seat member 42; and a piston 52 attached in the cylinder 42a. The electromagnetic coil 44 is excited, and the movable core 45 is sucked to the fixed core 43. Thus, the opening 42b of the valve seat member 42 is opened, and a fluid flows in a brake fluid storage chamber 51 to press the piston 52.
