Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the temperature control, simplify the measurement and the equipment, reduce the cost, etc., in conducting tests simulating the deformation behavior of a structure.
SOLUTION: In the simulator simulating deformation behavior of a structure at a high temperature comprised of an assembly of partial elements, models of separate partial elements are formed of a shape memory alloy. The structure is assembled by storing in the memory the deformation of each model at a high temperature in advance so that the deformation behavior of the structure is reproduced by temperature control.
