To provide a simultaneous biaxial drawing machine controlling accurately the position of a clip gripping a film while changing the draw ratios in the TD and MD directions separately.

The simultaneous biaxial drawing machine includes a TD-direction drawing mechanism consisting of a sliding arm having a grip gripping an end of a sheet material at the tip and sliding in the TD direction and two or more bases arranged in the MD direction and holding the arm in a slidable way and an MD drawing mechanism consisting of endless links in the form of pantographs retractable in the MD direction. The TD-direction drawing mechanism is mounted on the MD drawing mechanism, and the sheet material is drawn in the TD and MD directions. The drawing machine is equipped with an endless link reference guide rail determining the moving loci of the endless links, an MD ratio guide rail determining the MD draw ratios of the endless links, a TD ratio guide rail determining the TD moving locus of the sliding arm and a base reference guide rail guiding the movement of the bases.
