PURPOSE: To simultaneously apply a number of caps, by inserting tubes in many holes for erecting tubes, provided in a lower body and fitting caps in an intermediate body having the same numbers of fitting holes to position above the lower body and cover therewith and pressing it at a stroke with a pressing plate in the captioned method for collecting tubes of blood.

CONSTITUTION: A number of erecting holes 2 for tubes and relief holes 3 are formed in the lower body 4. Tubes 1 with the opening at the top are erected in the insertion holes 2. On the other hand, a positioning member composed of the same numbers of cap-fitting holes 6 with the insertion holes 2, coil springs 12 for returning, washers 11, and rods with positioning heads 9 is provided in an intermediate body 8. Caps are set on the cap-fitting holes 6 and the intermediate body 8 is placed on the lower body 4. In this time, the positioning heads of the intermediate body 8 are inserted in the relief holes 3 of the lower body 4 and the caps are orderly positioned at the openings of tubes 1. Next, the upper body 15 is placed on the intermediate body 8 and pressed by a pressing plate 49 to fit the caps at a stroke.
