Abstract:

To lighten the processing load of simultaneous communication on a base station.

A mobile station 18 when detecting a paging channel showing that simultaneous communication is under way from the base station 16 omits radio link establishment negotiations and call setting procedures, opens a reception window for the carrier and slot specified by the paging channel, and transfers to a voice reception state. The base station 16, on the other hand, inserts information showing that the voice of simultaneous communication is of the contents of the simultaneous communication into SACCH (attached control channel) together with the voice. Consequently, even when the radio link establishment negotiations, etc., are omitted, the mobile station 18 is able to recognize that the received radio wave is concerned in the simultaneous communication.
