PURPOSE: To allow a center line feed bobbin and a laterally-wound line winding bobbin to be made large-sized and a high speed operation by laterally winding multiple conductors around the center line simultaneously and parallelly during the production of a telephone cord, etc.

CONSTITUTION: The central line 1 is fed from a feed bobbin 100 and is run upward from below through a flyer shaft 52, and multiple conductors 2 are parallelly wound around the center line 1 at the quide slit 54A of a winding guide shaft 54 by a line split metal 53. Accordingly, a conductor feed bobbin 6 is rotated against the flyer 5 by the unwound quantity of the conductors 2. The laterally wound line 3 thus obtained is withdrawn by a capstan 8 and is wound to a laterally-wound line winding bobbin 10 with a traverser 9. These bobbins 100 and 10 are of a stationary type, and they can be made large-sized and can be easily replaced. In addition, only one conductor feed bobbin 6 is used and it is coaxial with the flyer shaft 52, thus allowing a high-speed operation.
