Abstract:
The present invention relates to a deluge valve for firefighting equipment and an open sprinkler system using the same. The open sprinkler system of the present invention comprises: a primary side inlet chamber (200a) and a secondary side outlet chamber (200b) disposed by facing each other in a trapezoidal shape inside a valve housing (100); a diaphragm (310) installed in a diaphragm chamber (300) on the inner circumferential surface of the valve housing to open and close the primary side inlet chamber (200a) and the secondary side outlet chamber (200b); and a primary side joint (110a) and a secondary side joint (110b) fastened to a connection flange (101) of the valve housing. The primary side inlet chamber and the secondary side outlet chamber are formed of a thin high-strength stainless steel plate so that a plurality of supporters (250) joined to flat ring plates (240a, 240b) are secured as large as possible in a passage (260) area, so that a pressure when a fire water passes through to minimize losses as much as possible. The primary side and secondary side joints, by providing a flange type in which a flange (111) for bolting and a pipe connection flange (112) are provided opposite to each other at both ends and a groove type in which the other end has a groove (113) for coupling fastening, are to be selectively used when connecting to primary side and secondary side flow passage pipes. The Deluge valve for fire-fighting equipment and an open sprinkler system using the same according to the present invention include a plurality of open-type sprinkler heads to which fire water is simultaneously supplied using the deluge valve for fire-fighting equipment.
