To provide a simultaneously opening valve for use in fire extinguishing facility of a compact, lightweight, and low-cost construction not requiring any significant space for installation, whereby the maintainability at clogging with rubbish is well enhanced.
The simultaneously opening valve 1 structured so that butterfly valves 30 and 30' are rigidly embedded on the primary side 3 and/or secondary side 4 of the valve 1 is embodied in the self-seal structure equipped with an enhanced water-tightness wherein part of the seat material of each butterfly valve swells outward when pressed so that inside of the body of the simultaneously opening valve 1 is pressed to establish tight attachment. According to this structure, the function of the simultaneously opening valve is maintained even if the butterfly valves are removed. A through hole penetrates from the inlet of the simultaneously opening valve to the space at the back of a piston, and in this through hole, a check valve stored in a plug is installed removably, and in the case the check valve clogs with rubbish, the plug is removed for conducting the rubbish removing operation.
